Top 10 Christmas Movies on Netflix

Over the last week or so, I have been trying to find Christmas movies to watch on Netflix. Christmas is my absolute favorite time of the year, and Christmas movies are a great part of it. Now that we have Oliver, we can snuggle up with him and some hot cocoa and eggnog and binge watch some Netflix! Here are my favorites, in order of how much I enjoy them. Keep reading below to see my favorite movie outfit!

Olivers puppy snuggles are the best!

1. 12 Dates of Christmas
This one is an ABC movie, so you know it’s a cute one. It follows a very classic story line for a Christmas movie – the main character, Kate, relives Christmas Eve over and over again until she gets it right. Kate is so worried about winning her ex-boyfriend back, she ends up ruining her blind date with Miles, a handsome guy she’s been set up with. In a strange twist of fate, Kate has the chance to re-live the same day twelve times in an attempt to finally get it right and discover what really matters to her isn’t what she thought.
2. A Christmas Kiss
This movie is absolutely adorable and has quickly become an instant favorite. The used-to-be-fun Wendy is an aspiring designer with a horrible, demanding boss named Priscilla. When Wendy gets stuck in an elevator with a mysterious, handsome man in the elevator, she soon discovers that it’s Priscilla’s boyfriend, Adam. Things get complicated quickly… especially because the chemistry between Wendy and Adam is SO strong, it really sells the movie. This is the epitome of a Christmas chick flick!
3. A Christmas Prince
I don’t think I saw this one on there last year so I’m assuming it’s new..and it’s such a cute one! A reporter named Amber who’s assigned her first “big-break story” – writing a story about a prince in another country who is supposedly a bit of a playboy. When she arrives in at the castle, she is hunting for her story and ends up being mistaken as the American tutor for the prince’s little sister. She begins to live in the castle with and the royal family and discovers  more than she came to find out. She starts to fall in love with the prince… but what happens when they find out she’s not who she said she was?

4. A Christmas Kiss 2
This one is the sequel to “A Christmas Kiss” and – surprise – also involves a kiss in an elevator. I personally enjoyed the original “A Christmas Kiss” more, but this one is still worth a watch – it’s really cute!! I even shed a little tear at the end. Jenna is a hardworking assistant at Trend, a fashion magazine. After filling in at a Christmas photo shoot, a mysterious, handsome man kisses her under the mistletoe in the elevator. She soon learns that this man is her boss’s brother, who also has a not-so-pleasant reputation of being a playboy. However, the more time Jenna spends with him, she can’t help but like him. He works hard to win her over and prove this time is different.

5. Back to Christmas
This movie threw me for a loop and I wasn’t sure what to expect. The main character, Ali, travels back one year in time to try to fix her broken engagement. After working to fix thing, she starts to realize that he may not have been the right one for her after all. The ending is an emotional roller coaster, but definitely worth watching!!
6. Christmas Inheritance
I think this movie is new, too. It’s on the popular list, so I had to give it a watch. Ellen is a socialite who is set to inherit her fathers company. She is a little wild to be a CEO anytime soon, though. Her father insists she goes back to his hometown where his company was started to deliver a personal letter as a Christmas tradition. Ellen finds more in Snow Falls than she anticipated.
7. Merry Kissmas
In this one, a girl named Kayla is engaged to a narcissistic film and stage director/choreographer who doesn’t care about anyone but himself. Their relationship is very obviously struggling. When Kate accidentally kisses a man in an elevator (where do these women find these elevators??) they end up falling for each other. It’s not the best acting I’ve ever seen, but the story is cute.
8. The Santa Clause
Another Classic! My sister and I used to watch this together every year, sometimes even when it wasn’t Christmas. Scott Calvin, a constantly working dad who has an iffy relationship with his son Charlie, gets sucked into becoming Santa Clause. Initially, he thinks it’s a dream, but comes to find out it’s not. It throws his whole world for a loop before learning to accept who he is.

9. The Christmas Card
Even though the acting in this movie was preeeetty bad, the story was adorable. A soldier receives a Christmas card from a stranger while on deployment, and ends up coming to the town the card came from, and of course he falls for the woman who sent it. They have some troubles along the way, but it’s a very sweet story and I definitely recommend it!

10. How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Who hasn’t seen the Grinch? It’s one of my favorite movies in general, not only at Christmas. I only put it at the end because I figured most people had seen it already. I’ll watch it 10 times in a row and not get sick of it! It’s always good to have a friendly reminder of the true meaning of Christmas.

Which Christmas movie is your favorite?? Let me know below!

  • Simple is always better. I tried so hard to figure out what I was going to wear for Easter. I spent a good hour trying things on the week before. I sent my sister tons of pictures asking her thoughts. In the end, I wasn’t really satisfied with any of them for some reason so I decided to just go with an outfit I know I love and feel good in. For some reason wearing white just makes me feel super put together. And I managed to not spill anything on myself or get chocolate on my pants which is a major win y’all. .

We don’t need to overthink things so much. It just causes unnecessary stress. I do like to plan ahead because it saves me time, but I also should have realized sooner that the dress I was trying to make work just wasn’t working. Even though I love that dress, it doesn’t flatter me how I want it to and it might be time to let it go. Don’t be afraid to let go of things that don’t give you exactly what you need. You don’t have to settle, something else will always come along. Or you probably already have something else in your closet (or life, this isn’t limited to clothes!) that’s even better than what you’re trying to make work!
  • Happy Easter 🐰❤️
  • Casual Good Friday ❤️ this was yesterday’s work outfit but I jazzed myself up before we went to church with Jakes mom and stepdad last night. I cried like a baby. Good Friday always both kicks my ass and reminds me how blessed we all are.
The beautiful KC weather this weekend is so exciting!! I’m so happy when it’s Spring weather 😍 Have a beautiful Saturday!!
  • “There is beauty in simplicity”
My simple wardrobe makes me so happy and I love the seemingly endless possibilities I have with it. Having a love of neutrals really works well for me with this!
Happy Good Friday ❤️
  • The only things in my life these days are the things I really want there. This isn’t limited to the stuff in my house and the clothes in my closet. This includes my job, relationships, hobbies, everything. I’ve even started eating better as a by-product of simplifying my life and I just feel better over all. .

By removing the things and people that don’t make me happy, I have more time and energy for the things that do that I used to put off and not prioritize like I should have. We spend so much of our lives being “busy”. But what are we busy with? Most of it is actually unimportant when you break it down. .

I say no to things much more now and that allows me to spend more of my time relaxing and enjoying life. I used to constantly feel rushed or like I should be doing something. If I wasn’t moving, I felt like I was wasting my time. But the truth is, resting and just being home with Jake and the boys is my happy place. It brings me so much joy, so that’s what my priority is. .

Having more time to just BE has been amazing. Being more picky in my relationships has helped me really value the ones I hold most dear and has brought me to an amazing new job because I wasn’t willing to settle for anything less. Respect yourself and your time and prioritize the things that matter most to you. Life’s too short to live any other way.
  • “When you love what you have, you have everything you need.” So many wonderful things have happened since I simplified my life. Changing my outlook on life wasn’t really intentional, but I’m so thankful it happened when it did. I was kind of at a breaking point. Fed up with where I was and how things were going with my old job. Struggling with depression and comparison. I knew something had to change but I had no idea what. Simplicity was that thing. .
Now, I spend way less time on social media. I deleted Facebook off my phone and haven’t looked at it in weeks. I’m much happier without it. I read a lot more. I’m getting much better at ignoring the impulse to pick up my phone and when I am on it, to compare my life to the perfect pictures people post. I even cut a few inches off my hair! 💇🏻‍♀️ I want things as easy as they can be right now. It takes a lot of stress out of my life. Try to go a whole weekend without social media and see how awesome it feels!
