Oh how I looove the weather changing! This week started cold and rainy, but ended sunny and 60. I sense Spring coming. Except it’s supposed to get cold again next week…boo.
Having school two nights a week for 4 hours is killing me lately. I’m glad we’re almost half way through because I am exhausted. Next semester I only have 1 online class which will be so much nicer.
On top of the busy week with school, we had a lot of deadlines at work this week so it was super hectic. We did get it all done, though! But it was rough haha.
For the week, here’s the rundown:
Monday was cold and gross out. I scored this sweater from Express for only $15!! They’re having a fantastic clearance sale right now, I highly suggest you check it out. I can’t find this exact one to link, but they still have a lot of other sweaters on sale right now. I love the color of this one, too. It’s different than anything else I have, like a pretty seafoam green. The pictures don’t really do it justice!
I got this shirt from one of my SuitableYou boxes. I didn’t maintain that service because it didn’t really fit my style. But I did love this top. I wore it on my first in-person interview to my job because it looks great tucked into a pencil skirt. I haven’t worn it again until now because I’ve been trying not to repeat tops until I’ve worn everything. I am finally through all of my fall and winter clothes and can wear things over again! I love this cardigan from Express (similar here), and I also LOOOVE this necklace! I bought it a few months ago and just haven’t figured out how to wear it yet despite how much I love it. Finally figured it out.

Another score from the Express sale!! This top was only $20. I love the sheer ballon sleeves and the keyhole detail on the front and back. We had a very long in-office meeting on Wednesday so I threw a black blazer over this to add a touch of professionalism. I love the look of blazers with jeans. My OTK boots (similar) always add a great touch, too. I got some questions about this necklace; it’s a feed through and it was a gift from my best friend. I believe it’s from Forever 21.
We were out of the office on Thursday for a tour of a Smart Unit apartment. We’re planning on making some of our apartments “Smart” so we wanted to see the functionality in person. If you didn’t see already, I took a video and it’s saved on my Instagram story. It was in a really awesome loft in Downtown KC. Afterward we had a really nice lunch on The Plaza because it was so beautiful outside. That’s also on my IG story! Even though it was so warm, I wanted to wear this scarf (similar here and here) while I still could! And I love this Express faux leather jacket. Perfect for Spring!
Ah, Friday. All of the hectic-ness of the week came to an end today. We met our deadlines and had a little in-office celebration. My office is definitely not your typical kind of office, and I am so thankful for it. It’s like a family, and because the only people that I work with in my office are all owners of the company, they do as they please. Which means when we get done what we need to get done, we have mimosas and Bloody Mary’s and have a chill day playing catch up on emails and other little things. These Liverpool jeans feel like leggings and I love them. They’re from Stitch Fix. Perfect for a chill day. This top is old, but I found a similar one here.
