Stitch Fix Review #7

I can’t believe this is already my 7th Stitch Fix. It doesn’t feel like it’s been that long! My last few haven’t felt like they were really hitting my style, but this one did a great job!

I always peek before I get my box to see what is coming inside using the Stitch Fix App, and I love being able to get an idea of what to expect ahead of time.

If you’re interested in trying Stitch Fix, use my referral code and get your $20 style fee waived!
If you’re unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, here’s how it works:
1.    Create a FREE style profile at StitchFix.com.
This is the fun part! It’s simple and doesn’t cost a thing. Just give them an idea of your body type and what you like to wear. Upload links for your Pinterest page to give your stylist some inspiration!
2.    When you are ready, schedule your first fix.
After you complete the profile, you can set up a time to have your fix shipped out. Your personal stylist will hand-pick out 5 items just for you based on what you said in your style profile. There’s a $20 styling fee, which is applied toward whatever you keep from your fix! There’s no monthly subscription fee, and shipping is free both ways!
3.    Try on your hand-picked clothes.
The best part! You can try on your fix clothes with what you already have in your closet and see how things work together. You have 4 business days to try them on and decide what to keep. You can even extend that if you need more time!
4.    Check out online.
You can check out on your computer, or through the handy app. You leave feedback for each item for your stylist and let her know your thoughts so the next fix can be even better. You’ll see the $20 styling fee applied to your items here. If you keep all 5, you get a 25% discount on top of that!
5.    Return what you didn’t love.
Didn’t love all of it? Place any unwanted items into the pre-addressed envelope that came with your fix, and drop it in the mail. It’s that easy (and free)!
6.    Schedule your next fix!
You can schedule you next fix any time. You’re not obligated to have one every month. You can request items for special events like a wedding or vacation, get new things every season, or get them as often as every 2-3 weeks! I personally like to receive mine every 3 weeks, just because it’s something fun to look forward to.

My first impressions of the box:
I love the cardigan. I’ve been needing a new one in that color, so that should be good. I love the green skinny jeans, I asked for those and they’re one of my favorite brands. Liverpool jeans are always a win for me. The distressed ones look pretty cute, too. The scarf is cute but I don’t think I’ll be paying $40 for it right before Spring.

Here we go:

Considering I’ve been needing a new cardigan this color, and this one is pretty cheap, this is a win! It’s comfortable and not too heavy so it’s great for Spring.

I did like this scarf. It was soft and comfortable and very cute. But considering winter is almost over, I just don’t need it right now. Plus, I could definitely get something very similar at Marshalls for $12!

I absolutely love these jeans. Level 99 makes their jeans feel like sweatpants, I swear. They’re so comfortable. I love the color, fit, sizing, all of it. Yes. They’ll be great for Spring!

Liverpool is another one of my favorite brands that makes soft and comfortable jeans. These were of course up to the usual standard, but they just didn’t wow me. Since I’m on a more strict budget for the wedding, I’d much rather have the Level 99 green ones than these.

These fit pretty well, but they weren’t the typical soft stretch that I’ve become use to from Paige and Liverpool. I also wasn’t a fan of the type of distressing on these, it has the worn parts sewn over with more thread. I prefer the holes to be real, as odd as that might sound haha. They were also very high waisted, which isn’t typically something I go for.

Oliver loves to be involved.

Overall, I felt much better about this box than my last few. I’ve been trying to give really specific feedback as to what I like and what I’m looking for. My Stylist, Dawn, did a good job of trying to give me what I asked for. 2/5 is pretty good! And there was nothing I didn’t like. So each time is getting better. My shoes came in the mail the same day as my Stitch Fix box, so I figured I’d just try everything on together!
