Please excuse how cold I look in these photos, it was a whopping 32 degrees when we took them!
We recently made the 11 hour drive from KC up to St. Germaine, WI for my brother-in-laws wedding. While we were up there, we got to experience fall a bit sooner than we had it in KC since we were so far north. The leaves were so beautiful! We all stayed in a massive log cabin (think 15 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms) and it gave me all the cozy vibes. There were lots of cozy nooks and big comfy furniture. It was right on the lake, but of course it was way too cold to do anything water related. It actually snowed while we were there!
I got to be snuggled up in this beautiful pom sweater while we relaxed the weekend away. I saw the detailing on it and knew I wanted to add it to my fall/winter capsule. It’s such nice quality and I know it will last for years. Since it’s knit, I do recommend wearing another layer underneath. I wore a tank top and that was NOT enough in this weather, but would be fine in most cases. Normally, I wear a long sleeve shirt under most sweaters because I am just always cold!
Since this sweater is a bit pricey, I’d wait until it goes on sale to snag it. I got it 40% off which made it a way better deal and this site is constantly having new sales!
If you follow me on Instagram (which you should if you don’t 😉 ), you’ll know I LOVE these $15 high waisted jeans! I’ve worn them at least 15 times since I’ve gotten them and am super impressed by the quality. They’ve become my favorite go-to pair! They do run small, I sized up to a 5 when I’d normally be a 3. You’ll definitely be seeing them on repeat.
Lastly, I want to mention these OTK boots. Again, quality is amazing and the suede is SO soft. They’re very stretchy and they actually stay UP all day without me having to constantly be pulling them up which is a big plus in my book.
These boots are from the same site as the sweater, so again, I’d wait until you can get them on sale, but they are totally worth their price tag. They’re sold in European sizes and run TTS, I wear a size 7 US and ordered a 37 and they fit perfectly.
