Ahh, the transitional weather. You wake up and need a winter coat but by 3 o’clock you’re sweating. It’s the best time of the year, right?!
Fall really is my favorite season, even though the weather in Kansas is sincerely confused most of the time. The best way to dress for unexpected weather changes is to layer up. All of those camis you just had on in summer will go right into fall super easily!
Below are my best options for ways to bring those camis into the fall season and stretch your seasonal capsule wardrobe a little longer to get the most out of everything in your closet.

Option 1: Jackets
Throw a jacket over your cami and call it good! I personally love the look of a satin cami under a moto jacket. It mixes classy and edgy vibes. This also works great with leather jackets, fleeces or any other more fitted outerwear pieces in your closet.

Option 2: Button up shirts
An open button up over a cami is an easy way to have a cute layered look and get more wear out of two things together. This is the only casual button up I have, but I highly recommend this look with either chambray or flannel. You can also rock it with a fancier button up to work.

Option 3: Sweaters
As someone who is perpetually cold, I always wear a cami layered under my sweaters as most sweaters are a knit material which can be kinda breezy. With my lower cut sweaters, I love wearing my lace trimmed camis underneath to give extra coverage and some added warmth.

Option 4: Cardigans
My personal favorite!! I LOVE the look of a cardigan with a cami underneath, slightly off the shoulder. It just gives me all the cozy fall vibes. I especially love this with the oversized and extra soft cardis.
